CRM isn't a single product, it's a cohesive strategy where often lots of
products work together to put the customer at the heart of a
business. This case study outlines how KB Logic implemented a data-capture and
analysis tool for the De Vere Group Plc that collected data from a number of
best-of-breed front-line customer-facing systems to provide a unified view of their customers.
This industrial services company wanted to enhance their Treasury management process
by developing a new version of their existing management system. KB Logic designed and implemented
an MS-Excel solution combining logic from existing spreadsheets
and incorporating the new management features required to provide a
new system that yielded benefits for the customer immediately.
In order to capitalise on a unique opportunity in the marketplace, our customer commissioned us to create
a brand new product for him to resell. The finished product would have to compete against established global
competition, and had to be the ‘bees-knees’ as far as feature-set, ease of use, and ease of support.
The application needed to handle several million rows of data that would be collected on-demand via public
telephone network from thousands of amusement and gaming machines.
When the world-renowned Golf, Leisure, and Conference resort The Belfry hotel in Warwickshire approached us to
integrate their core operational systems we jumped at the opportunity to work with them.
The finished solution was designed around MS-SQL Server to make
disparate information available to Sales personnel, Restaurant, and
Guest Services staff.
KB Logic, along with other business partners were commissioned to
develop a brand new Enterprise-Wide EPoS system for this Lodge, Pub
and Restaurant chain. This was an ambitious and very successful
project that resulted in the customer being able to implement a system
at far less cost than by purchasing a comparable system from regular
EPoS suppliers.
