Microsoft Welcomes KB Logic To The
Microsoft Certified Partner Program

KB Logic's drive to achieve general industry recognition has turned another corner as Microsoft welcomes them as an official Microsoft Certified Partner with specialist Competency in Data Management Solutions.  

KB Logic is no stranger to working with Microsoft having been a Microsoft Certified Partner for the last 6 years, but this new recognition of expertise in the field of Data Management Solutions is an important step forwards that highlights KB Logic as a provider of quality Business Intelligence solutions. These certifications aren't given away they have to be earned, and customers recognise that we have worked hard to achieve this level of technical expertise.

Technically, the MCP programme gives us access to the core Microsoft product range and future releases, so that we can 'get up close and personal' to it; which is exactly what we have been doing. As software engineers it is crucial that we have a thorough understanding of these core Microsoft products in order for us to develop solutions that add significant value to our customers' investment in these products.

The Data Management Solutions Competency comprises two specialisations including Business Intelligence and reflects the commitment KB Logic has made to this area of technology which continues to grow in importance amongst the wider business community. Typical of the Business Intelligence solutions developed by KB Logic at the enterprise-level have been: Guest history Data Warehouses, Revenue Management solutions, and Financial Management solutions.

However, we're not stopping here. KB Logic has a stated goal that every developer must achieve a certification rating of 'Microsoft Certified Solution Developer'. This is a significantly higher qualification than the standard Microsoft Certified Professional which each developer currently has, and is probably the closest to a formal 'software engineering' qualification that the software industry can bestow at the moment.

Microsoft are important to us as a supplier of core information systems. They provide the solution framework that most of the world runs on and so it is only natural for KB Logic as Software Consultants to align themselves with them.
